Create or join a room

Open the WARDOGS calculator and select the game map you are using. Open Spotter room to create a room or join with a code or invitation link. The room's map stays fixed for that session.

Anyone with the code can join and change the shared target. Give the invitation only to the players you want in the room. The host can close the room when the session is over.

Share the intended target

Joining follows the room's confirmed target. Each player keeps their own firing position and weapon selection locally; those are not sent to the room.

Editing coordinates, clicking the map, or confirming an OCR result changes your local draft. Use Share target when you are ready to publish it to the crew. Review OCR coordinates against the screenshot before sharing.

Add a map marker

Right-click the map to choose a marker type, or use the marker tool for click and touch placement. Add a short label if the icon alone is not enough. The Room markers list helps locate points outside the current view.

Members can edit or remove markers. Use as target changes your local draft; it still needs Share target before it becomes the room's target.

Handle a conflict or lost connection

If two players update the same target or marker, a stale edit can be rejected. Read the latest confirmed state before retrying instead of assuming your draft replaced it.

A lost connection retains the last confirmed target and disables publishing until reconnection is confirmed. Closing the Spotter room panel does not leave an active room or stop its target updates.
